Abstract

The journal is based on a landslide early warning system using a wireless sensor network. A brief study on landslides and their types was conducted as part of understanding the system itself. This research includes the construction of a wireless data connection using sensors, ZigBee, and a microcontroller. Three sensors—temperature, soil moisture, and angle sensor—are connected to the Arduino UNO processor for data collection. The data collected by the Arduino is then transmitted via ZigBee. The information received at the base station is displayed on an LCD for real-time monitoring.
